When web page elements have changed, Copado Robotic Testing can pick-up those changes and suggest how to update your test scripts. Below is a brief description of this process.

1. Run your existing test case in Live Testing

Your test case will fail and Copado Robotic Testing will start analyzing elements in your web page.

2. Select the updated element

Select the updated element from provided list and click Heal step.

3. Check your script and save changes

The change is applied to your script.

Save your changes and on next run Pace can find the correct element.

Self healing functionality works QWords with text -based locators or arguments

  • ClickText

  • ScanClick / ClickUntil / ClickWhile

  • HoverText

  • ClickCheckbox

  • TypeText / TypeSecret

  • DropDown

  • VerifyText

You can start failing tests directly from results view in Live Testing and use self-healing to update your scripts.
